Marion Miller

Marion Miller

Professor
4121 Meyer
(530) 754-8982
mgmillersears@ucdavis.edu

Research Interests: The overall goal of Dr. Miller's research is to understand how chemicals adversely affect the male reproductive system, and explore the involvement of metabolic activation mechanisms in testicular toxicity. Additionally Dr. Miller's laboratory is developing sperm biomarkers which signal damage to the male reproductive tract. These biomarkers encompass both biophysical (motility and morphology) and biochemical (oxidative and sulfhydryl status) and have recently been extended to include sperm plasma membrane proteins which are important in sperm-egg interactions as indicated by in vitro fertilization ability.
