6/03 – 9/05: Research Associate – San Jose State University Foundation ; California Department of  Fish and Game, Water Pollution Control Laboratory, Rancho Cordova, CA

· Inorganic section lead chemist

· Reponsible for the maintenance and operation of instrumentation such as ion chromatograph, flame and furnace atomic absorption spectrophotometers, colorimetric flow injection analyzer

· Supervise 4 full time chemists

· Ordering supplies

· Project coordination for various public and private water monitoring events

 

1/02 – 5/03: Research Assistant  -  San Jose State University Foundation ; Department of Fish and Game, Water Pollution Control Lab, Rancho Cordova, CA

· Analytical lab work in inorganic chemistry section

· Quantitative analysis of nutrients, metals and other water quality parameters
